Pranayama Programme
Private 3-Month Pranayama Programme
Sukoon Breath Circle
Learn to breathe slowly, deeply and steadily. Twelve private, one-to-one 60-minute pranayama lessons with me on Zoom, one every week for three months, scheduled at times that suit you. Build a calm, lifelong breath practice one gentle step at a time, from the comfort of home.
Why Pranayama
More than breathing exercises
Pranayama is the yogic art of working with prana, your life force, through the breath. It is a quiet, inward practice that brings ease to the body, clarity to the mind and peace to the heart. In a busy world, a few minutes of mindful breath each day can change how you feel from morning to night.
Find a comfortable, supported seat and a relaxed, upright posture you can return to every day.
Train your attention on the breath and give a busy mind a gentle place to rest.
Slow, smooth breathing invites the quiet and ease that sukoon, peace, is all about.
Your Journey
A step-by-step path, week by week
Each month we move through the full variety of pranayama, one theme a week. In month 1 you learn the practices, in month 2 you refine them, and in month 3 you deepen them and make them your own. Because every lesson is private, we always move at your pace.
Your seat, posture and the meaning of prana. Diaphragmatic breathing, the full yogic breath, equal-ratio breathing (sama vritti) and step-by-step viloma breathing.
Nadi shodhana, alternate nostril breathing, with correct hand position and ratios, plus a simple look at the koshas, nadis and five pranas (vayus).
Bhramari (humming bee), ujjayi, and cooling breaths like sheetali and sheetkari for warm days and a heated mind.
Gentle, beginner-friendly bhastrika and kapalabhati, then putting it all together into a simple daily routine for your dosha and season.
Each practice is adapted to you, your experience, health and dosha. You can start any week and begin wherever you are.

Your Teacher
Practice with Nipurna
I'm Nipurna Shah, a pranayama teacher and Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor in Suwanee, GA. Breath has been at the heart of my own healing journey, and I teach the way I was taught: slowly, safely and with deep respect for the tradition. In our private lessons, I'll guide you personally and adapt every practice to you. My wish is that you leave every lesson a little calmer than you arrived.
Questions
Frequently asked
Do I need any experience?
No. Every lesson is private, so we start exactly where you are, whether you're a complete beginner or a yoga student who wants to go deeper.
How are lessons scheduled?
All lessons are private and one-to-one on Zoom. After you join, I'll contact you to agree on a weekly lesson day and time that fits your schedule, one lesson every week for 12 weeks. You'll receive your Zoom link by email.
What do I need?
A quiet space, a cushion, folded blanket or chair to sit on, and a device with Zoom. Practice on an empty stomach or 2–3 hours after a meal.
Can I book a single lesson?
Lessons are offered as a complete 3-month programme only, with no single drop-in lessons. Pranayama works best with steady, regular practice, and twelve weeks of private guidance gives you the support to build it.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. Just let me know at least 24 hours ahead and we'll find another time that suits you.
What happens after 3 months?
You'll finish with a simple daily breath routine of your own. If you'd like to keep deepening your practice with me, you're welcome to join another programme.
Is pranayama safe for everyone?
Most gentle breath practices are suitable for everyone, and I offer modifications. Some practices, especially energizing breaths and breath retention, are not suitable during pregnancy or with high blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, vertigo or recent surgery. Please tell me about any health concerns when you join, and check with your doctor if you're unsure.
Pranayama supports general wellbeing and is not a substitute for medical care.
